Heron Passage (54°0′S 38°11′W) is a channel between Vaughan Island and Trinity Island in the Willis Islands at South Georgia. The existence of this passage, reported in the 1930s, was confirmed by HMS Owen (K640) during a hydrographic survey of the area in 1961. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee after one of the Owen's survey motor boats, the Heron.
