Hermann von Borries (13 October 1899 – 16 February 1943) was a highly decorated Oberstleutnant in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hermann von Borries died in hospital at Porchow on 16 February 1943.
