Henry Bancroft "Deac" Twombly (November 10, 1862 – ?) was a college football player and lawyer. He invented quarterback signals.

Twombly was a prominent quarterback for the Yale Bulldogs football team of Yale University. He helped lead Yale to a 21–0–1 record over three seasons. Walter Camp was in the same backfield.
