Henry Stern is an American law lecturer at University of California, Los Angeles and Democratic Party politician. He is currently running to represent California's 27th State Senate district. Henry Stern was previously a senior advisor to Senator Fran Pavley, who is a California State Senator. Stern was critical to the efforts toward helping with the gas link in Porter Ranch .
Henry Stern was born in Malibu, California. He attended Harvard University and UC Berkeley School of Law. Stern has served as counsel to Congressman Henry Waxman on the House Energy & Commerce Committee to help construct clean energy projects for businesses. He has also taught civics, founded a tech incubator, and advocated for juvenile justice.
