Henry Laurence Lindo was a Jamaican Civil Servant.

  • In 1935 he entered Her Majesty's Civil Service as Her Majesty's Inspector of Schools for Jamaica.
  • From 1939 to 1952 he was Administrator of the island of Dominica, the first West Indian to hold the position.
  • During his administration he improved the island's roads.
  • From 000000001962-08-01-0000August 1962 to 000000001973-12-01-0000December 1973 he was High Commissioner (Commonwealth) for Jamaica in London.
