Henry Blackman (baseball) Henry Blackman

Henry Blackman (1888–1924) was a former player for the Negro Leagues. He played in the 1920s, when he entered the Eastern League at the age of 30. He lastly played for the Baltimore Black Sox. Blackman played third base and was stated to be a dependable .300 hitter. For a period he played for the Indianapolis ABCs. His salary at the time was $180 per month. He died on August 8, 1924 at the age of 36.
