Henrietta Edgecomb Hooker (December 12, 1851 – May 13, 1929) was an American botanist. She was born in Gardiner, Maine. She graduated from Mount Holyoke Female Seminary in 1873, and from the University of Syracuse, in 1888, with a PhD. In 1889, she studied at Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität. She began teaching at Mount Holyoke in 1875. In 1899, she was one of two Phd's teaching at Mount Holyoke. She retired in 1908, and died on May 13, 1929 in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
