HelpArgentina[1] is a United States-based 501(c)(3) non-profit non-governmental organization registered in New York that acts as a bridge between the international community and responsible, efficient, and transparent organizations from the Argentine social sector. It is a philanthropic institution that provides a platform for individuals, either donors or volunteer fundraisers, to support over 70 nonprofit organizations based in Argentina.

HelpArgentina was founded in 2002 during the Argentine crisis by two young entrepreneurs: Lloyd Nimetz, founder and managing director of RippleQ and Julián Bedel, founder and director of Fueguia 1833, Laboratorio de Perfumes.

This organization offers a variety of services to international donors: it allows donations from U. S. taxpayers to be deductible from income taxes; it provides a network of social organizations that meet principles of quality and transparency; and it evaluates organizations proposed by donors in order to confirm that they are eligible to receive donations from the United States.

In addition, the donors have access to relevant data and receive advice when making decisions regarding their philanthropic activities. HelpArgentina provides a secure processing system which allows the acceptance of international donations in cash, checks, wire transfers, credit cards and/or securities (stocks and bonds).

Finally, HelpArgentina offers volunteers the opportunity to have personalized experiences working with nonprofit organizations in Argentina.
