Heleia is a genus of bird in the white-eye family Zosteropidae. The genus has a small distribution, being endemic to the Lesser Sundas. One species, the spot-breasted heleia is restricted to the island of Timor, the other, the thick-billed heleia, occurs on Flores and Sumbawa. Both are around 13.5 cm long and have atypical plumage for the family. Little is known about these birds, although presumably fruit and insects are part of their diet. The species are:

  • Thick-billed heleia (Heleia crassirostris)
  • Spot-breasted heleia (Heleia muelleri)
  • Arantxan txan takolo pirrutx eta porrotx
