Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross

Dr. phil. Heinz Stamer (4 November 1887 – 3 November 1958) was a Korvettenkapitan with the Kriegsmarine during World War II and a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes). The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership.
