Heinrich Kretschmayr (1870–1939) was Austrian archivist and historian who specialized in the history of Venice.
The first volume of Kretschmayr's work Geschichte von Venedig was published in 1905 and second in 1920. His work outgrew the 19th century tradition in historiography.
