Heinrich Gotthold Arnold (1785–1854) was a German artist.
Life
Arnold was born in 1785 at Lamütz, near Radeberg in Saxony. He was a pupil of Schubert, and studied the works of Titian, Guido Reni, and other great masters in the Dresden Gallery. He painted portraits and sacred subjects for churches. He was a professor at the Academy of Dresden. He died in Dresden in 1854.
