Hednota opulentellus is a moth in the Crambidae family. It was described by Zeller in 1863. It is found in Australia, where it has been recorded from Tasmania, New South Wales and Victoria.
The wingspan is about 30 mm. The forewings are brown with silvery white longitudinal stripes. The hindwings are silky and buff.
