Hectobrocha pentacyma is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by Meyrick in 1886. It is found in Australia (Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria).

The wingspan is about 20 mm. Adults are pale yellow with dark brown zigzag markings and dots on the forewings.

Larvae have been found on Hydrangea species, but probably feed on algae or dead leaves. The larvae are brown and hairy and reach a length of about 10 mm.
