Hecate Rock (54°2′S 37°12′W) is a submerged rock with a least depth of 4.2 metres (14 ft), lying off the entrance to Beckmann Fjord in the Bay of Isles, South Georgia. It was named by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1984 after HMS Hecate (A137), which came very close to grounding on the rock during a hydrographic survey of the Bay of Isles in January–February, 1983.
