The Council of Accounts of Castile and Leon is the dependent institution of the Courts of Castile and Leon it which performs the functions of external control of economic, financial and accounting management of the public sector of the Autonomous Community and other public entities of Castile and Leon.

In the year 2006 decided move it to Palencia, in concrete to a building of Box Spain projected by Jerónimo Brook. The building is made in art nouveau and neoclásic. It consists in a facade with six windows of which go out both balconies of black iron forged, typically palencian. In the cornice, a garland cut in stone decorates the high part. Two towers bedded in the extremes of the main wall and of plant trapecial contribute greatness to the building. In the towers (of three flats each one) open simple windows with white glasses and of colours. The top of these towers closes with two small domes of slate topped by pinnacles. The building is the number 54 of the Greater Street and is oriented to the street Bocaplaza that gives to the Greater Square of the city by what the situation was ideal so much inside Palencia as by his vicinity to Valladolid. Confront of the building finds a statue of his author Jerónimo Arroyo.
