Harry Salisbury

Henry H. Salisbury (May 15, 1855 – March 29, 1933) was a 19th-century Major League Baseball pitcher for two seasons.

Biography

He was born on May 15, 1855 and attended Brown University.

Salisbury had a record of 6 wins and 4 losses for the Troy Trojans in 1879, and three years later was 20–18 for the 1882 Pittsburgh Alleghenys, completing all 38 of his starts. In that 1882 season he finished in the top ten in eighteen pitching categories, including wins, strikeouts (135), and earned run average (2.63).

Salisbury died at the age of 77 in Chicago, Illinois, and was buried at Mount Hope Cemetery.
