Harlaw Reservoir is a small reservoir in the City of Edinburgh Council area, Scotland, UK, situated in the Pentland Hills near Malleny Mills, Balerno and Edinburgh.

It was built between 1843 and 1848 in front of Threipmuir Reservoir by James Jardine for the Edinburgh Water Company.

Harlaw Hydro is a grid connected micro-hydro installation driven by the potential energy of the water retained by Harlaw reservoir. It started operating in August 2015, and has a peak generating capacity of 85 kW, enough for about 177 houses, and its output can be viewed on-line.
