Hans Stern (2 May 1907 – 30 March 1972) was an Obersturmbannfuhrer, in the Waffen SS during World War II. He was awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross to recognize extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership by Nazi Germany during World War II. Hans Stern was awarded the Knight's Cross while a member of the Heer, he transferred to the Waffen SS in 1943.
