Hans-Henning Eichert (25 January 1917 – 9 July 1943) was a highly decorated Major in the Wehrmacht during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Hans-Henning Eichert was killed on 9 July 1943 near Orel, Russia during the Battle of Kursk.
