Hampton High School is a high school in Hampton, Tennessee.

The school was originally built during the 1940s. The elementary school was destroyed by fire during the late 1950s. A new high school was built during 1961 thru 1963. The first students went to the new high school in late 1963. The first class of students to go all four years to this new school graduated in 1967. The old high school became the elementary school. Both buildings are still in use. Current sports teams include boys' and girls' basketball, football, baseball, softball, soccer, and marching band.

Marching Band

The Hampton High School Bulldog Marching Band was founded in 1999 with a band room being built in 2001. Recent directors include Travis Skeen, Onsby Rose, Bryan Angel, and Jamie Davidson (current). The average number of band members usually amounts to < 30; however, recent years have shown a large growth, due to increased community support as well as recent efforts by the directors to improve the band. For the 2016-17 season, the band had 55 members, almost double their average size. Around the same number is expected for the 2017-18 season.

The band is classified as 2A by most marching band competitions and competes in mostly eastern Tennessee and southern Virginia competitions.
