Ham Sab Umeed Say Hain (we are all hopeful) is a popular TV Situation Comedy (Sitcom) show produced by Geo Television Network in Pakistan. Since electronic media was liberalised by General Pervez Musharraf in the early 2000s, hundreds of TV satellite channels were given licenses to broadcast their programming. This program mostly makes fun of corrupt and lazy politicians who always somehow sneak into the political process and get elected. This show's TV artists try to portray them in their situational comedy. The show also covers current affairs topics in Pakistan in a humorous way.
It is written by the popular Pakistani TV programs screenwriter and humorist Muhammad Younis Butt who is also the executive producer of the show. Butt said in an interview to Geo TV Network, "Writing comedy is his passion, so he always enjoys it and never feels exhausted by writing." Fawad Wyne directs the comedy show. This show has been on the air since 2007. Due to its popularity, it is still being aired in 2016.
