Ha. A. Mehler (born 1952) is a German author who has written 120 books as of today, of which many have appeared on bestseller lists.
Mehler worked for five years as an editor and journalist in the No. 1 Television Company (ZDF) in Europe before he turned to writing full-time. In 1987, books by Ha. A. Mehler hit # 1, # 2, # 4, and # 5 on one bestseller list all at the same time. In 1989, he became a best-selling author in Germany’s No. 1 paperback publishing house (Heyne).
Later he was published in ten German publishing houses, and subject of extensive television, radio and newspaper coverage. He is currently published in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, The Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland, United States, Bulgaria and Russia while more countries are preparing for publications (Mexico, France).
Mehler received many awards: the Golden Feather twice in Germany, and in Slovakia the title “Velkomozny” (“Great Man”). Some of his books are part of the school curriculum in Germany and studied by teachers and students alike. In 2006, Ha. A. Mehler received a USA Green Card based on “extraordinary ability” and now lives in Florida.
