HS postcode area

The HS postcode area, also known as the Outer Hebrides postcode area, is a group of postcode districts around Isle of Barra, Isle of Benbecula, Isle of Harris, Isle of Lewis, Isle of North Uist, Isle of Scalpay, Isle of South Uist and Stornoway in Scotland. It corresponds to the Outer Hebrides, also called the Western Isles or in Scottish Gaelic na h-Eileanan an Iar or na h-Eileanan Siar with this latter form possibly leading to the HS acronym.
