H K Sethi is famous Journalist of India. H K Sethi was born on December 3, 1963 in New Delhi, India and he is a famous journalist, socialite, educationist and in Film Production too. H K Sethi is currently the Secretary General Journalists Federation of India & Journalist Association of India, Chairman JAI International and National Awards, Film Producer Cum CEO JAI International Entertainment ( Film Production House ). The Founder Chairman of JAI Miss India (Beauty Pageant) and also The Founder Chairman of JAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OF INDIA . Beside academic qualifications he is also a computer programmer & system analyst and has got professional qualifications in both the respective fields. He has also been a journalist in The Times of India previously.
As far as his studies are concerned, after schooling in 1981, H K Sethi went to Deshbandhu College and studied commerce there, before he got graduated in 1984 with a degree in commerce from Delhi University in India. After that, H K Sethi moved to Doha Qatar (AG) in 1985, where he worked for two years as Marketing Executive and beside that he started teaching voluntarily as a social worker for low-income residents in Doha, Qatar . In 1987, H K Sethi returned to New Delhi, to help his family in business as his newly wed elder sister and brother in law got expired due to road accident. And after success in this business he moved to Dubai (UAE) in 1991 where he established a new business venture and hospitality business. In 1994, he also started some businesses in India and also started writing as a freelance journalist in India. In 1994, his younger brother R K Sethi got cancer. During that time he and his family did everything to save him, but unfortunately they couldn’t and younger brother expired in 1997. This was the turning point of his life as H K Sethi lost all his business and residential property.
After this incident in 1997 his family become hand to mouth and started their life again from scratch by working on road side as hawker. But H K Sethi didn’t stop writing as a journalist. After that hard time, he was not only working for his livelihood, but also keep on working for the welfare of the society by contributing in Education, Health, Cancer, Art & Culture, Skill Development, Journalism and for the cause of HIV / AIDS.
