HD 45364 c is an extrasolar planet located approximately 107 light years away in the constellation of Canis Major, orbiting the eighth magnitude G-type main sequence star HD 45364. This planet is located in a 3:2 orbital resonance with HD 45364 b. It has a minimum mass 3.5 times more massive than HD 45364 b, or 66% that of Jupiter. Its orbit takes 343 days, which is 22 days less than the Earth’s. Its eccentricity is similar to Mars, in which the orbital distance ranges from 0.81 to 0.98 astronomical units. This planet was discovered by HARPS on August 8, 2008, the same day as the planet HD 45364 b.
