HD 101930 is a dim 8th magnitude star located approximately 95 light years away in the constellation of Centaurus. It is an orange dwarf (spectral class K2V), somewhat dimmer and cooler than our Sun.

Planetary system

In 2005, the discovery of a planet orbiting the star was announced. This is another discovery using the radial velocity method with the HARPS spectrograph.
