Gymnastics at the 2012 Summer Olympics – Women's artistic team all around

The final of the women's artistic team all-around competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held at the North Greenwich Arena, London on 31 July 2012. Eight teams of five gymnasts competed in the final from a total of twelve teams which have qualified for the Games.

Teams qualified for the final through the general artistic qualification performances on 29 July 2012. Each team composed of five gymnasts. The eight teams with the best combined scores in the qualification moved on to the team final.

In the team final, each team selected three gymnasts to compete on each apparatus. All three scores counted for the team score; the three scores on each apparatus were summed to give a final team score.

Qualified teams

The following teams qualified for the Olympics by achieving a top eight placing at the 2011 World Artistic Gymnastics Championships.

  • The following teams qualified for the event by achieving a top four finish 2012 Olympic Test Event at the North Greenwich Arena, a competition open to the teams who had finished 9th to 16th at the 2011 World Championships.

    On Sunday 29 July 2012, teams that had qualified to the Olympics competed for a place in the All-Around Team Final. The top 8 teams qualified to the team final to be held on Tuesday 31 July 2012.
