Acharya Gyansagar is a famous Digambara Acharya (head of the monastic order). Jain philosophical concepts like ahimsā (non-injury), truth, self-control form the subject matter of his discourses.

Acharya Gyansagar has visited many parts of India like Delhi in April 2014, and Tikamgarh in February 2016.

He conducted Tirthankara Parshvanatha's annual Nirvana ceremony in Bada Gaon temple in August 2016.
