The Great Gwynne Evans


Gwynne Evans (September 3, 1880 – January 21, 1965) was an American competition swimmer and water polo player who represented the United States at the 1904 Summer Olympics.

At the 1904 Olympics in St. Louis, Missouri, he won two bronze medals as a member of the third-place American team in the 4x50-yard freestyle relay, and as a member of the third-place Missouri Athletic Club team in the Olympic water polo tournament.
