Guy Burruss Gardner (March 18, 1920 – December 11, 1980) was the eighth head football coach for the Howard Payne University Yellow Jackets located in Brownwood, Texas and he held that position for three seasons, from 1953 until 1955. His career coaching record at Howard Payne was 18–9–2. He died after a long illness in 1980.
