All the courses of the institute are approved by All India Council for Technical Education and are affiliated with Maharaja Ranjit Singh State Technical University, Bhatinda.GVIET, formerly known as Gurukul Vidyapeeth Institute of Emerging Technology (Hindi: गुरुकुल विद्यापीठ कॉलेज), or GVIET, is an engineering institute located 25 km away from the city of Chandigarh, India.
