Gurmukhi translated and published version of Quran has been found in the Lande village of Moga district of Punjab State. It is believed to be the oldest Gurumukhi translation of the Quran Sharif which is around 115 years old.It is reported to be the menifestation of religious harmony among various religious faiths in Punjab as it was translated from Arabic to Gurmukhi by a Sikh scholar (Sant Vaidya Gurdit Singh Alomhari) of the Nirmala tradition and money and other arrangements for its publication was made by the Hindu businessmen and aSikh.It was published by a Sikh Publisher of Amritsar . Bhagat Buddhamal Aadatli and Vaidya Bhaga two Hindu businessmen and a Sikh Sardar Mela Singh Arif sponsored the printing of this publication. First time it was published in 1911 and its 1000 copies were published at the rate of Rs. 2.25. At present this publication is in possession of sh. Noor Mohammad of above referred Lande village .
