Gunter Glasner ( 26 August 1917 – 22 June 2012) was a German Luftwaffe air gunner and recipient of the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross (German: Ritterkreuz des Eisernen Kreuzes) during World War II. The Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Glasner was a member of the Hermann Hogeback bomber crew. The crew had the unique distinction that by the end of World War II every member was decorated with the Knight's Cross.
