The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference was a short-lived men's intercollegiate athletic conference of HBCU's that existed from 1957 to 1964. The present-day Gulf Coast Athletic Conference, founded in 1981, is a separate entity even though some of the members are the same. The conference's members were located in the southeastern United States. The conference sponsored three sports: Football, Basketball, and Outdoor Track & Field
