Guitar Xpress is an original series on the Video On Demand network Lifeskool (Formerly Mag Rack). Hosted by Luther Dickinson of The North Mississippi All Stars, and The Black Crowes. The series provides instruction for guitar players of all levels. In each episode, Dickinson teaches viewers hit songs from the past or present in all genres and often is joined by special guest stars. In each episode, viewers not only learn chord changes, but the history and inspiration of the famous works. Since the program is On Demand it allows viewers to watch the instruction at their own pace.
The 2006 season featured a line up including: The Bacon Brothers, The Spin Doctors, Trey Anastasio former lead guitarist of Phish, and Les Paul.
