Große Aa is a river of North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

The Great Aa originates in eastern Westphalia 7 km north of the border to Hesse between Bad Wünnenberg the north-northwest and Marsberg on the border between the Brilon Plateau in the east and the Sintfeld Plateau in the north. Its source is about 4 km northeast of Brilon's district Madfeld and 300 m north from the Liebfrauenberg, that is a footill of the Totenkopf. It is located on the northern border of the Diemelsee nature park. Its "twin", the Kleine Aa, originates about 1.5 km north-east of it.
The Große Aa flows entirely in the "nature reserve Aabachtal" through the wooded landscape in the intermediate region of the Obermarsberg forest in the east and the Madfeld forest in the west. Surrounded by forest and hiking trails, the creek marks the border of the Diemelsee nature park. In the upper part, the Great Aa flows a short distance to the southwest, finally then to the northwest.
The river mouth is about 3.35 km northeast of Madfeld between the wooded heights of Madfeld forest, where it enters the Aabach.
