Green Tomato Ltd (GreenTomato) is a mobile application service provider established in 2003 and headquartered in Hong Kong. It was listed as both a Red Herring "Global 100" and "Asia 100 company" in 2007 and it was the first Hong Kong company to have achieved both titles.
Its offering focuses on the emerging Mobile Internet Market. It helps corporate clients expand their presence and user community on the mobile space through mobile platform solutions, mobile contents generation. The company specializes in mobile platforms iOS, Android, BlackBerry, J2ME, Symbian, and Windows Mobile. GreenTomato has launched over 150 WAP services serving more than 3 million subscribers and over 50 iPhone apps for its clients since 2009.
Farm is a development unit of GreenTomato set up in 2009. It is an in-house research laboratory for latest mobile software development, Farm has created two self-initiated iPhone applications - Majong and Hong Kong Movie, which is a Hong Kong ICT Award 2009 winner for Best Mobile Infotainment Application.
GreenTomato has a joint venture company, Hotmob. Hotmob is the first and the largest mobile advertising network in the Greater China Region founded in 2007. It won the “Digital Media Marketing Campaign” and “Best New Start-up Company” awards in the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2009.
