The Greater Cairo Planning Commission or GCPC was a planning body for Cairo, Egypt, which was created in 1965. The commission was approved by a ministerial decree in 1974.
It was superseded by the General Organization for Physical Planning (GOPP) in 1981.
This government body answers to The Supreme Council for Planning and Urban Development (SCPUD).
