Grand Theater Station (simplified Chinese: 大剧院站; traditional Chinese: 大劇院站; pinyin: Dà Jùyuàn Zhàn; Cantonese Jyutping: Daai6 Kek6 Jyun2 Zaam6), formerly Dajuyuan is a station on Line 1 (Luobao) and Line 2 (Shekou) of the Shenzhen Metro. It started operations on 28 December 2004. It is located underground at the junction of Shennan Donglu (simplified Chinese: 深南东路; traditional Chinese: 深南東路) and Jiefang Road (Chinese: 解放路) in the Luohu District of Shenzhen, China. The station takes its name from the Shenzhen Grand Theater (simplified Chinese: 深圳大剧院; traditional Chinese: 深圳大劇院). It is the closest station to The MixC (a major luxury shopping mall) and the Shenzhen Book City (simplified Chinese: 深圳书城; traditional Chinese: 深圳書城). It is an interchange station between Lines 1 and 2 and will interchange (indirectly) with the Line 9 in Hongling South Station.
