Government Medical College, Jaunpur is an upcoming state medical college located near Jaunpur in Jaunpur district, Uttar Pradesh, India. It is situated in Siddiqpur block of Jaunpur district which is on Nawab Yusuf Road, connecting Jaunpur to Shahganj. The medical college is being made on the compound of previously state run yarn mill, which was closed earlier due to recurrent loss since years. The foundation stone was laid on September 24, 2014. It is expected to be complete and be functional with 150 bed capacity in early 2017. The government hospital and medical college will benefit millions of people from Jaunpur and nearby districts.
