Government Higher Secondary School No 1 is a middle higher secondary School in Peshawar, Pakistan. It was founded in 1930.

Education

Education in this school is better than any other school in Peshawar. It has three levels of studies. Middle classes go from 6th class to 8th class and higher classes from 9th to 10th. Secondary classes go from 1st year to 2nd year.

History

The school was founded by a Pakistani in 1930. It became the best school in KPK overall from its origin. About 45 teachers teach there. Some 17,000 students enrolled in 2015.
