Goth Pathan (Sindhi: ڳوٺ پٺاڻ ) is a historical village situated in Taluka Bakrani, District Larkana, Sindh, Pakistan. It is located at an elevation of about 175 feet above mean sea level (MSL), in the south of Larkana city and on the right bank of Dadu Canal. The distance between Larkana city and the village is 13 km. Bakrani town is 4 km away from the village in the East. Bakrani Railway Station is located 3 km in the North-West of the village. The population of Goth Pathan is about 10,000. The village is also a union council comprising nearly 30 small villages.

However, one thing which should also be highlighted while this village is also prominent in the perspective of large scale criminality i.e (Murders and Land grabbing) and homo sexuality extended within all tribes. The criminals, backbiters, homosexuals, housebreakers, shoplifters, land grabbers, while including in all sort of social and moral iniquities are broadly accessible in this criminality center village however, the notable idiot Muharru Siyal along with his son Zafar Siyal are prominent in the perspective of Waqar Siyal murder, who in the meantime while after having committed such a brutality (under a broad patronage of MPA of PS-35 Larkana (i.e Tarique Anwar Siyal) have been escaped from the village to an unknown place in order to avoid any possible reaction from the aggrieved party particularly an expected court conviction. Simultaneously, yet an interesting aspect regarding to the Chairman UC Pathan should be underlined that this person named as Aftab Zafar by cast Siyal have committed financial embezzlements during his tenure as a contractor at a Rice Plant/Ice Factory located adjacent to village pathan and as a result have been thrown out from both factories by his uncle Dr. Roshan Ali Siyal. Furthermore, he has committed land grabbing in terms of few agricultural acres of land being handed over to him by his uncles as a “Guardian”. Interestingly, this criminal Aftab Zafar has been elected as a Chairman of a Union Council and keeping in view his past activities one should be optimistic that how this ill-mannered and a criminal person shall perform his duties.
