Fuchsia is an operating system currently being developed by Google. In contrast to previous operating systems developed by Google such as Chrome OS and Android, which are based on the Linux kernel, Fuchsia is based on a new microkernel called Magenta, derived from Little Kernel (LK), which was intended for embedded systems and is mainly written in C. Fuchsia is designed to run on a multitude of devices, including mobile phones and personal computers.

The symbol of the operating system at the repository hosting service GitHub is a fuchsia-colored Infinity Symbol.
