Gonionota pyrrhotrota is a moth in the Depressariidae family. It was described by Edward Meyrick in 1932. It is found in Bolivia.

The wingspan is about 18 mm. The forewings are reddish brown with some slight blackish-grey irroration towards the base and with two indistinct dark grey dots obliquely placed in the disc at one-third. The second discal stigma is minute and black, centring a light reddish-orange spot, between this and the termen some undefiĀned reddish-orange suffusion. There are several small indistinct dark grey terminal spots. The hindwings are dark grey.
