Gneiss Lake (60°44′S 45°39′W) is a small lake on the west side of the Gneiss Hills in the south portion of Signy Island, South Orkney Islands, north-east of the Antarctic Peninsula. The lake is permanently ice covered and is visible only in summer when melting occurs at the perimeter. It was named in 1981 by the UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee in association with the hills.
