Gloria Brewster (1918-1996) was an American actress and dancer, and the twin sister of Barbara Brewster. Gloria was born Ruth Stevenson. Gloria and Barbara were discovered at the San Diego County Fair by a studio official from 20th Century Fox. They appeared in nine films in the late 1930s and early 1940s, and were called "the Most Beautiful Twins in America" and billed as The Brewster Twins. They were under contract to 20th Century Fox, and toured with the Three Stooges in 20th Century Fox promotions. In 1940 they appeared in "Twincuplets," with twins Claude and Clarence Stroud; Gloria later married Claude Stroud, and stopped acting after her marriage. She and Barbara appeared as Stuart Morgan Dancers in High Kickers on Broadway in 1941. They also entertained members of the military during World War II at USO shows.
