Glomfjord power plant is a 6×20 MW hydroelectric power plant in Glomfjord in the municipality of Meløy in Nordland county, Norway. It gets its water from Nedre Navervatn lake which is located about 465 meters above sea level, but there are plans to start taking water from Fykanvatn lake as well.

The plant is currently owned by Statkraft.

History

The power plant was built in 1918 to a design by the architect Olaf Nordhagen. In 1942, during the Second World War, an Anglo-Norwegian raid, Operation Musketoon, attacked the German-held power plant.
