Global Boxing Gym is located in North Bergen, New Jersey. It houses top-level boxers and MMA fighters, as well as world-class trainers.
Fighters who have trained at the gym include Jameel McCline, Tomasz Adamek, Pawel Wolak, Monte D. Barrett and Mariusz Wach.
Some of the well-known boxing trainers who have worked at the Global Boxing Gym are: Tommy Brooks, Michael Moorer, James Ali Bashir, Juan DeLeon, Carlos Sugar DeLeon, and Aroz “Terrific” Gist, and Lenny DeJesus.
Brief history
The gym was founded by a Polish entrepreneur, Mariusz Kolodziej, in 2010. Since 2011 the gym served as a training facility for the Global Boxing Foundation which helps young amateur boxers succeed in their professional career. Many talented amateurs from all over the world have been invited to train and at Global Boxing.
Global Boxing has also served as a filming facility for Everlast photo shoots for professional athletes such as NFL running back Reggie Bush, Super Six Champion Andre Ward, 2008 Bronx Olympic medalist Deontay Wilder and many more.
In 2011 Arturo Gatti’s murder case was reviewed and discussed at Global Boxing Gym, which housed the official press conference of the investigation. Later that year 48 Hours Mystery TV mystery used the results of the investigation press conference to take a deeper look into Gatti’s case. The filming for 48 Hours Mystery TV also took place at Global Boxing Gym and aired on CBS News.
