Glinkovsky District (Russian: Гли́нковский райо́н) is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-five in Smolensk Oblast, Russia. It lies in the center of the oblast. The area of the district is 1,225.74 square kilometers (473.26 sq mi). Its administrative center is the rural locality (a selo) of Glinka. Population: 4,948 (2010 Census); 6,149 (2002 Census); 7,866 (1989 Census).

The population of Glinka accounts for 39.3% of the district's total population. The settlement which became Glinka dates from 1898. On 1 June 1907 the railway station was renamed Glinka in honour of the composer Mikhail Glinka (died February 1857).
